Commemorating the 62nd National Nutrition Day (HGN), the Kramat Jati Sub-district Health Center (Puskesmas), East Jakarta, held a Hybrid Talk Show themed 'Joint Action to Prevent Stunting and Obesity' and COVID-19 vaccination service for pregnant women.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Health Center Head, Inda Mutiara mentioned, there were 70 representatives from PPAPP and KPKP Sub-agency, Restu Kasih Hospital, urban village heads, Kramat Jati TP PKK chairperson, Kramat Jati healthcare cadre, and pregnant women who attended the event.
According to her, it was held to raise cross-sectoral commitment in preventing and reducing stunting cases, decreasing Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), improving immunization coverage and quality, as well as controlling and overcoming tuberculosis (TB) and non-communicable diseases.

According to her, stunting, wasting, and obesity could be influenced by habits of suboptimal nutritional intake, repeated infections, inadequate health service, and lack of physical activity.
"Double burden of malnutrition can be prevented by various means, both specific and sensitive interventions, especially in the first 1,000 days of life," she asserted.
